Auto-generated documentation for LexRuntimeV2 type annotations stubs module types-boto3-lexv2-runtime.

Client#

Implicit type annotations#

Can be used with types-boto3[lexv2-runtime] package installed.

Write your LexRuntimeV2 code as usual, type checking and code completion should work out of the box.

# LexRuntimeV2Client usage example

from boto3.session import Session

session = Session()

client = session.client("lexv2-runtime")  # (1)
result = client.delete_session()  # (2)
  1. client: LexRuntimeV2Client
  2. result: DeleteSessionResponseTypeDef

Explicit type annotations#

With types-boto3-lite[lexv2-runtime] or a standalone types_boto3_lexv2_runtime package, you have to explicitly specify client: LexRuntimeV2Client type annotation.

All other type annotations are optional, as types should be discovered automatically. However, these type annotations can be helpful in your functions and methods.

# LexRuntimeV2Client usage example with type annotations

from types_boto3_lexv2_runtime.type_defs import DeleteSessionResponseTypeDef
from types_boto3_lexv2_runtime.type_defs import DeleteSessionRequestRequestTypeDef

client: LexRuntimeV2Client = session.client("lexv2-runtime")

kwargs: DeleteSessionRequestRequestTypeDef = {...}
result: DeleteSessionResponseTypeDef = client.delete_session(**kwargs)
